THE TOWN THAT WOULDN'T QUIT One of the nicest Christmas stories this year is about the town of Wilmington, Ohio. This town of 12,000 people drew national attention after it lost 8,000 jobs when DHL closed its doors in 2008 and A GOOD MAN DIED THIS CHRISTMAS Fred Hargesheimer, a World War II Army pilot whose rescue by Pacific islanders led to a life of giving back as a builder of schools and teacher of children, died during the holidays. He was 94. AN IMPORTANT ELECTION Our country is at a crossroads that there's no turning back from. The only way out, from the dire straights we find ourselves faced with is the November elections.
